HOW TO SAVE OVER $100 ON YOUR NEXT SUMMER GETAWAY

Summer is such a fun season but there is nothing better than a weekend get-a-way during these hot months! I truly love just packing up my bathing suit, sunscreen, beach bag and hopping on the road with friends to a new destination to soak up the sun!

Summer trips sound fun on paper but can add up quickly in price! There is no need to restrict yourself from a vacation, so that is why I put together these money saving tricks to save OVER $100 to help you plan your next getaway!

Whether you are flocking to the city from a suburban town or hopping the Jitney to the Hamptons, I guarantee these tricks will save you $$$ and might even help squeeze in another trip before summer is over!

Airbnb is my favorite way to book any trip! This form of lodging is cheaper than hotels, and the hosts are always friendlier! My roommate and I booked a trip to the Hamptons and had the most amazing time! A lot of which was from the amazing home we stayed in with even more incredible hosts!

You are able to book a private room, multiple rooms or an entire house in practically any city in the world. And did I mention, you can save on your first booking?! Save $40 off your first booking of $75 or more! I mean that practically one night from only $35!!

SAVE $40 off your first booking (of $75 or more)!!!

Also if you are in the NYC area and want to check out the same AMAZING place I stayed at in the Hamptons, I'm sharing with you! Check out where I stayed HERE!

Another way to save is something so silly and SO easy, don't eat out! When I went to the Hamptons, we only ate out one night and cooked in the other night and still had leftovers for lunch! It was so much more fun grilling out and eating by the pool in peace. When we did go out only for just that one night, we enjoyed it 10x more.

I ordered all of our groceries from Amazon Fresh before we went and it made life so much easier! Amazon Fresh deliveries groceries to your front door and is the same price as any grocery store. For the entire weekend, I only spend $35 on food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 2 and a half days!

So far you've already saved $65 on your weekend trip and it's only going to get better! My favorite but most stressful part is always transportation! Maybe it's because I live in NYC where I don't have a car and have to rely on public transportation but just discovered a life hack, Zipcar! Zipcar is a car-sharing service that provides access to cars by the hour or day in cities and airports around the world.

Right now they are having a killer deal where your annual membership is only $35 for the year vs $70 for the year (or $7 per month). Cars start at $10 an hour and the more people you have going on your trip, the cheaper each ride is! And by car-sharing, you are doing good for the environment. Did I mention gas & insurance is included in this tiny cost? Life changing!! PLUS right now with my referral, you can get $25 credit towards your first ride!!

So now that I've shared 3 easy tricks which save you well over $100, you can book your next trip with ease! The hardest question is, where will you travel next?! Xx, J
